29 August 2024 – DAHS soccer re-match

Match Day Two

On August 29, 2024, the high school's soccer teams played against “Dreams Academy” (De Aar).

The U17s won 1-0 in yet another close encounter where the HSDA U17s were awarded a second half penalty in the dying minutes of the match.

The penalty was scored by our captain, Litha Kwindla. Special mention also goes out to Thabo Mphala for his excellent goalkeeping that kept our U17s in the game.

Our U15s were absolutely on fire in their match! Where they had lost their match in the previous week...our lads rectified matters to score five goals and keep a clean sheet.

Much gratitude goes out to our players, opponents, and school management for making it possible for our young lads to get gametime in a busy academic schedule.

The players look forward to more matches in the coming term.

Both HSDA squads are showing great promise despite having only played two matches a piece.

We are excited for the next term and are so proud of our young players!
